Created on Aug 01, 2019
Description
-
A 15 yo female with no significant past medical history presented with 3-4 months of nasal congestion, facial swelling and headaches as well as intermittent epistaxis. She was being treated with anti-histamines for seasonal allergies without significant relief. On the day of presentation, she was seen for an initial visit by an allergist, who noted a large intranasal tumor and referred the patient for further evaluation.
There were no prior hospitalizations or surgeries. Her only medications were anti-histamines. She had an allergy to penicillins, which resulted in rash. Take the quiz.
